At Dior’s haute couture show, Sigourney Weaver told WWD that Raf Simons would be creating her and Isabelle Huppert’s costumes for Body Art. In the upcoming Luca Guadagnino film, Weaver plays a journalist and Huppert is the body artist. As The Hollywood Reporter points out, Simons’s work has previously been featured in a movie — in 2009, he dressed Tilda Swinton’s character in I Am Love, and Antonella Cannarozzi, the lead costume designer, was nominated for an Oscar. Back then, Simons was at the helm of Jil Sander, and the house’s minimalist aesthetic dominated Swinton’s wardrobe; now that he’s at Dior, are we in for bedazzled lips and lots of Sigourney thigh?
