On today’s runways, Proenza Schouler was full of minute details that we couldn’t resist zooming in on: tiny squiggles, letters in the spirit of Keith Haring, dalmatian-print pony hair, and intricate Seurat-like lace. The gilt baroque embroidery at Marchesa had us leaning in for a closer look, and at Ralph Lauren, a cobalt-blue velvet column gown with a Swarovski crystal choker arrested our attention.
