Model-turned-actress Brooklyn Decker has gotten a role in a new CBS comedy pilot called Friends With Better Lives, which “revolves around six 30-something friends who each think the other has it better,” according to Deadline. She’ll co-star with James Van Der Beek. Her character, Jules, is a former model who was discovered in a mall at age 13. Surely not by coincidence, Decker was also discovered in a mall in Charlotte, North Carolina, in her teens. Perhaps Van Der Beek will play a former teen star?
