Yesterday, a story began circulating around the Internet (as stories do) that Kate Moss had signed on to cover Playboy’s 60th anniversary issue, which doesn’t come out until January 2014. It gets better: These mythical pictures will allegedly involve famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot and be styled by Alex White, whose skills are normally reserved for high-fashion jobs like W spreads and Chanel ads. The source of all this? A website called Now This News, which claims to have obtained an “internal memo” about the shoot, said to take place next month. Maybe, if enough people blog about this, it’ll actually come true! But how they’ll manage to top Moss’s naked V cover with Rihanna is hard to imagine.
