“It might seem a little strange to have a high fashion model write for a technology magazine,” Coco Rocha wrote on her blog while announcing her latest side gig that will supplement her high-end modeling career, “but I’m actually the kind of girl who’d rather buy a new tablet over a new pair of heels any day of the week.” Rocha has long been extending her legs beyond the runway — she tried her hands at designing her own line, blossomed into a reality-TV mentor alongside Naomi Campbell and Karolina Kurkova, dabbled as a social media manager for a week — and now has entered the world of writing and editing for PC Magazine.
Her first post is all about 3-D printing influencing the fashion industry, and she’ll be adding more of her fashion-meets-tech thoughts in her new column with each issue. Because journalists didn’t have enough competition.
