Designer Reem Acra is one of the 51 percent of New York women who believe Anthony Weiner deserves a second chance. She’s on the hosting committee for a “Women for Anthony” (see what they didn’t do there?) fundraiser at the Manhattan home of major Hillary Clinton donor Jill Iscol next week, Politico reports. Elie Tahari’s wife Rory is on the committee, as well. More interesting, the committee confirms reports that Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin (a longtime Clinton staffer who is known for her personal style) and her network of contacts are central to her husband’s comeback, endorsement or no endorsement. She brings new meaning to the term “ride or die.”
