DKNY Adding 10 New Art Walls Around the World

Just in time for summer (outdoor fun season!), DKNY Artworks is bringing back the concept behind the brand’s iconic Soho wall mural (1992–2008) but amplifying its global presence. They commissioned ten artists from ten different cities to reinterpret both the original wall and the city of New York in individual murals. Starting this month, the revamped DKNY walls — featuring the works of artists How & Nosm, Amy Gartrell, Roids, Maurizio Galimberti, Christophe Hamaide-Pierson, Sasan Nasernia, Calvin Ho, Nod Young, Junk House, and Yamaguchi Soichi — will be on view in Milan, Dubai, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Seoul, and other world capitals, including New York. As in the original style, the brand’s four letters are filled with art: You’ll be able to spot graffiti, graphic design, spray paint, doodles, and Arabic calligraphy. Watch the video below to take a quick spin around the globe to meet the artists, learn more about their interpretations, and hear how New York inspired them.
