J.Lo, Madonna, and Prince Harry (Sort of) at the Chime for Change Concert

With a founding committee comprised of Gucci’s Frida Giannini, Salma Hayek-Pinault, and Beyoncé Knowles, you knew the guest list for Saturday’s Chime for Change benefit concert was going to be good. Performers included Beyoncé herself, with Jay-Z joining her onstage for one of the songs, as well as Jennifer Lopez in thigh-high boots, a fringed leather leotard, and a spectacular gold cape. Meanwhile, Rita Ora did high kicks in sequined pants and a crop top, Mary J. Blige wore a sparkly black bodysuit with sheer panels, and Florence Welch flapped her arms in a winged green dress. It was all very dramatic.

But this was one of those concerts where the audience was just as well-dressed and ready for the cameras as those onstage — with a few notable exceptions, like Meg Ryan, who hid in her seat with sunglasses on. Co-hosts Frida Giannini and Salma Hayek posed with guests like Jessica Chastain, James Franco, Freida Pinto, and Gucci face Blake Lively, who wore a white dress and a prom-y updo. This being London and all, there were some royal appearances, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and their mom, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson. Sadly, Prince Harry couldn’t make it, but he did make a quasi-cameo with a prerecorded address that played on a giant film projector, MObama-at-the-Oscars-style. Click through our slideshow for the highlights of the evening.
