Last night in Hollywood, the actress dressed up in a slinky black satin dress from Thakoon resort’s 2014 collection to attend HBO’s season-two premiere of The Newsroom. Her chosen dress, which appeared to be lingerie-inspired, looked simple at first glance, but became increasingly confusing upon further inspection. In addition to the glaring strand of horizontal lace connecting the dress’s narrow straps, which created an awkward cleavage triangle, it also featured frontal slits on each thigh. Munn wore a single silver cuff earring and held onto a gold clutch, maybe in hopes that the metallics would dazzle eyes away from the wimpy lace line. Nope, that single strand stole the limelight.
