Directioners and Beliebers have been counting down until they can complete their transformations into the ultimate fans by spritzing down their bodies with soon-to-be-released grapefruit or vanilla-tinged scents, respectively. Now it appears that Tay’s girls and boys will also have the chance to join in on the smelly fun with her newest fragrance, Taylor.
The crooner, being the shrewd businesswoman that she is, decided to one-up the boys with a two-part video, dedicated to her relentless fan army. In the video above, the dynamic Swift accomplishes the following activities in just 30 seconds: Plays with sparklers, sways from an indoor swing without abandon, reads (and laughs) in an empty bathtub, sprays her new scent with a scrunched-up face, writes her name (plus heart!) on a chalkboard, poses for a few Polaroid snapshots in a fedora, and sunbathes in the backseat of a car as her arms reach up to the heavens. Whew. In the background, of course, is the sound of her own warbling voice (“Starlight,” from her RED album, to be exact). The perfume, with its crystal bottle and dazzling pearly orb, is available now. And to borrow the words of the songstress, “Three, two, one, go!”
