First Looks: Opening Ceremony’s Elvis Collection
To all fans of the King of Rock (or his gyrating pelvis), Opening Ceremony has now made it possible to wear the man’s various mugs — from soulful to seductive — right on your chest. Opening Ceremony and the Elvis Presley Foundation have created a capsule collection for Fall 2013, which features an array of garments including dress shirts dotted with Elvis silhouettes, T-shirts and sweatshirts emblazoned with archival photographs and song lyrics, tops covered in studs, jean jackets reading Love Me Tender, and more. Click on the slideshow to get a first glimpse of the collection’s look book, which was shot by Jamie Hawkesworth in Memphis, Tennessee. Then take a trip to the fifties to watch him flash an innocent little smile (as the crowd squeals in hysterics) before singing “Heartbreak Hotel.”
