Mad Men actress Kiernan Shipka (b. 1999) pledged her allegiance yesterday to riot grrrl, the third-wave feminist punk movement (est. 1990). Shipka’s character Sally Draper (b. 1954) will be in her mid-thirties by the time Bratmobile forms — and will have hopefully outgrown her current rebellion — but I have zero doubt the precocious child star has done her own historical research.
