At the screening of her upcoming film The Grandmaster in Los Angeles last night, Zhang Ziyi wore a military-inspired short black dress (with puffy sleeves) accented with shiny patent leather panels from Chanel’s fall 2013 collection. While the dress could have stood alone, the actress piled on Chanel-logo-emblazoned accessories, including a skinny belt studded with pearl baubles and a small box purse with a chain-strap handle. She then added a flash of gold to her look with her heavy piped pumps, wore jewel-encrusted hoop earrings on her lobes, and painted her lips a bright shade of Barbie pink. Though it appeared that her accessories were vying to steal the show, Ziyi’s hair was the quiet winner of the night, a pile of delicate waves caressing the left side of her face.
