Nasty Gal Goes Androgynous This Fall

Last yeark, eBay-store-to-e-commerce-empire wunderkind Sophia Amoruso of Nasty Gal debuted her Fall 2012 in-house collection. A year later, the clothes are still about sexually empowered street style — and, of course, incorporate the slightly obscure references that inspire their collections. This season, the Nasty Gal gal is a little more androgynous, evoking a mix of eighties and nineties Japanese avant-garde, and Amoruso’s idea of the future: pixels, fiber-optic fabrics, textured-leather trench coats, and new neutrals like magenta, navy, and royal blue.
