Last season, rumors emerged that Rochas designer Marco Zanini (formerly of Halston and Versace) was headed to the newly reopened house of Schiaparelli. Those reports were never confirmed, perhaps because his replacement hadn’t been found yet. But according to today’s Times, that will change soon: Italian designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua, who stepped down from his leadership role at Les Copains today, is said to be taking Zanini’s place after Rochas shows in Paris next week, at which point Zanini will head to Schiaparelli (and spearhead its revival for real, hooray). We can expect further clarifications — or rather, confirmations — from Paris next week.
