Glamour accompanied Chelsea Clinton to Tanzania for a “revealing” profile in their November issue. It’s pretty much what we’ve come to expect from the poised, happy NBC special correspondent — the article finds her doing do-gooder work with her father, swooning over her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, and recounting precocious tales of playing Meet the Press with President Dad. Pretty standard. But the most interesting tidbit is that Hillary Clinton, potential future POTUS, is not immune to grandma fever. Said Chelsea of her and Marc’s upcoming priorities:
“The first thing on the list was simple: We want, God willing, to start a family. So we decided we were going to make 2014 the Year of the Baby. And please,” Chelsea pleads, “call my mother and tell her that. She asks us about it every single day.” Next on the list? “Work really, really hard, and in a way that makes an impact,” says Chelsea.
So, Hillary: 2014, Year of the Baby — does it overshadow 2016, year of the first female president?
