Kanye Reportedly Signs $10 Million Deal With Adidas: After accusing Nike of pedaling “trash-ass shoes,” Kanye West has left the company for a lucrative deal with rival Adidas — and he cites North as the reason. Says Yeezus: “The old me, without a daughter, would have taken the Nike deal becaue I just love Nikes so much. But the new me, with a daughter, takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family.” Page Six reports the Adidas deal hath wrought West $10 million plus royalties. John Galliano Won a Minor Victory in His Protracted Lawsuit: In the long legal battle waged by John Galliano against his former employer, Dior, Friday marked a minor victory: The designer won the right to have his case heard in French labor court. He’s reportedly seeking 6 million euros — or $8.4 million — for his dismissal from the company in March 2011. In the ruling, WWD reports, several e-mails between Galliano and LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault were read, including a 2006 letter in which Arnault chastised the designer for making the image of Dior “eccentricity and extravagance” rather than “sophistication and refinement.” [WWD]

Burberry May Lose Trademark of Its Check Print: It may be ubiquitous, but Burberry’s famous check print could now be in jeopardy: The Guardian reports that the company has appealed a decision by Chinese authorities to cancel trademark protection for its signature check. If the decision is upheld, it could mean that local rivals could copy the pattern. [The Guardian]

French Vogue Christmas Issue Is the Beckhams Almost-Kissing: Hovering an inch away from each other, Posh and Becks cover the Christmas issue of French Vogue, which, incidientally, Victoria also guest-edited. Said Emmanuelle Alt, the magazine’s editor, of Beckham:  “She is spontaneous with a great sense of humour, humble yet at the same time driven by a healthy ambition … She is a perfectionist, like everyone who is passionate about their work.” “Healthy ambition” and “perfectionist” may or may not be compliments?

Cara Delevingne Is Now a Lingerie Model: She appears in black lace underwear and a push-up bra for the brand’s spring 2014 ad campaign, which was unveiled on Friday. According to the brand’s vice president of global commercial operations, Delevingne represents “youthful and rebellious magnetism” — which they’re hoping will boost sales. [WWD]
