
Today marked the denoument of the couture shows in Paris, with only a few left to present tomorrow. Dita von Teese walked in Jean Paul Gaultier’s show for the third time — which made sense, considering the collection’s spring night and speakeasy vibe. Models fluttered down the runway wrapped in weblike fishnets and pieces took insects’ shapes on blouses, dresses, and hats. Margiela repurposed fabrics, also giving the house’s infamous headgear bedazzled eyes and hair. Meanwhile, Elie Saab sent out a range of elegant, brightly colored gowns, which looked like colorful crystals had been thrown on them in paintlike splatters. See more in our runway galleries below.
