First Lady Michelle Obama chose a conservative emerald dress and sweater set for Tuesday’s State of the Union. According to the Financial Times’s Vanessa Friedman, the design is from the French designer Azzedine Alaïa — a curious move for the State of the American Union, she pointed out.
