Last night, stars turned up at the Shrine Auditorium on a rare Saturday night to honor each other: no Poehler-Fey one-two punches, no Diane Keaton lullabies, no Jacqueline Bisset. And because the night lacked the glossy veneer of the Oscars — and the jazzy, alcohol-guzzling atmosphere of the Globes — things were less perfectly styled and groomed than usual. (There was, it should be known, still the presence of the dreaded mani cam). Julia Roberts, fresh off the Oxford-under-dress fiasco of the Globes, showed up in a jumpsuit; Kerry Washington opted for a questionable Prada crop top, and Jennifer Lawrence hung up her luggage bands in favor of a more simple silhouette.
