Sounds like stars got really weird when the Spanx came off and the booze came out (the Louboutins were removed before the ceremony even ended) at the Golden Globes after-party circuit. Once the primary eveningwear got ditched in favor of party dresses, all etiquette really went out the window. The New York Times caught some stars doing strange things. Joaquin Phoenix was caught dancing (truly bizarre) and eating appetizers from a tray.
But the more notable attendee was a cranky Uma Thurman, who responded to all press questions with “I need a job!”
“Uma, what are you wearing?” “I need a job!” “Uma, where are you headed next?” “I need a job!”
And we thought Jacqueline Bisset and Diane Keaton’s truly disturbing song were the tip of the quirky iceberg.
