Sometimes the more someone offers you something, the more unappealing it becomes. Like, for example, if someone said they would give you their house if you let them have a sip of your juice — or that they would write you a check for $3,000 just to walk to the end of the block.
Anyways, a sketchy guy with minimal game and lots of cash once offered Claudia Schiffer a million pounds ($1.6 million dollars!) for an evening. Naturally, she turned him down. Here’s how she described what she calls one of the most bizarre moments in her career:
The strangest one was an Arab prince. He asked if he could hire me for a dinner for a million pounds. I declined, and some other supermodel took it… It’s not all about money… I just want to be able to walk down the street and be proud of what I do.
Unfortunately, she didn’t reveal which supermodel took the high-paying — and terrifying — gig. Mysteries abound.
