New York Fashion Week begins the first act of Fashion Month, and sets the pace for all other fashion weeks to follow. Fashion followers get a glimmer of the trends that will have the biggest impact on our closets come fall. This past weekend we combed through thousands of runway images to bring you our favorites. Whether it was the geeky glitter-coats topped with shearling at Rodarte, Alexander Wang’s severe thigh-high boots, or the madcap squiggles and splash patterns at Proenza Schouler, there’s so much to think about from the New York shows. Click through our slideshow to see our nominations for the top 50 looks from the week.
