Paris Street Style: Pastels and Childhood Kitsch
While stateside we’re still reeling from last night’s Oscars, in Paris, show-goers soaked up the last few days of fashion month. On the street, playful nods to childhood abounded: Danish blogger Marie Jensen sported a pair of crossword-puzzle patterned pants, and fashion consultant Yasmin Sewell opted for a striped Mickey Mouse shirt. Meanwhile, Paris-based stylist Elisa Nalin chose a lip-patterned skirt and strawberry-themed clutch, Giovanna Battaglia wore a striped teddy-bear cape, and Natalie Joos accessorized with multiple pink fur boas. Others opted for something a bit edgier: Polish model Anja Rubik wore a clever variation on the American Apparel “wet T-shirt” T-shirt, and Lily Gatins donned a species of the Pharrell hat.
