It seems that Scarlett Johansson spent a good portion of her interview for her New Yorker profile evading substantive discussion of the controversial topics that somehow swirled up around her. For example, when asked if she would work with Woody Allen in light of recent controversy, she replied, “I don’t see why I wouldn’t.” And then, regarding her involvement with the SodaStream, she said:
I think I was put into a position that was way larger than anything I could possibly—I mean, this is an issue that is much bigger than something I could be dropped into the middle of.
It should be noted that she spoke these noncommittal words in a voice made of honey and the smoke of a vintage Gauloise. Johansson did say something funny, with her sexy sultry voice, when she drove under an enormous Dolce & Gabbana billboard of herself: “My cleavage is the size of a brontosaurus.” Just a fragment — a fun fragment — from ScarJo about dinos and breastos.
