A 9-year-old boy in North Carolina was bullied after he brought a My Little Pony lunch bag to his elementary school. In response, the school banned this young Brony from carrying the bag, calling it a “trigger for bullying.” Reportedly, the school is also looking into the bullies’ conduct — which included pushing, punching, and verbal cruelty — but haven’t taken any public action against them. Bruce Grayson says that — like bizillions of other kids — he considers My Little Pony his favorite cartoon. His mother, Nicola Bruce, told ABC, “Saying a lunchbox is a trigger for bullying is like saying a short skirt is a trigger for rape. It’s flawed logic, it doesn’t make any sense.”
