Seen at Paris Fashion Week: The Circus Comes to an End

By the final day of Paris Fashion Week (also the final day of Fashion Month), everything has become a blur. Backstage areas at the shows all begin to look alike, with endless makeup tables leading to endless racks of clothes leading to endless lines of identically styled models. And with those repetitions come perceivable (and often, beautiful) patterns: Models at Chloé wore casual beach waves in identical shades; boys rocked matching flat-tops outside Isabel Marant.

But also special are the quiet moments of contemplation behind the spectacle: a model thumbing through her iPhone at Issey Miyake; another taking a rest in a corner at Veronique Branquinho; a man waiting for the show to begin at Emanuel Ungaro. The Cut’s Alex Majoli was on hand to capture the spectacle — and the peace on the fringe of it. Click through our slideshow to see his moments from the final few days of Paris Fashion Week.
