There Are More Female Billionaires Than Ever

This year Oprah and her cohort will welcome a few new inductees into the Billionaire Ladies Club: Forbes just released their annual list of incredibly wealthy people, and there are now 172 female billionaires on it — a 25 percent increase from last year’s 138.

Notable newcomers include Nigerian oil-tycoon Folorunsho Alakija; Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer and Jane Lauder, Estée Lauder’s granddaughters, who will take the helm at Clinque next month; and Sheryl Sandberg, whose billionaire status was reported earlier this year.

Club members enjoy activities like taking afternoon tea, being a boss, and counting so many stacks.
