Coachella Street Style: Fanny Packs, Crop Tops, & Jorts
This weekend marked the start of Coachella, the annual doubleheader that attracts hordes of photo-ready crop top and flower-crown enthusiasts to Southern California’s sun-baked polo fields. The Cut sent photographer Keenan Reilly into the sea of post–Coachella diet midriffs and frayed jorts to capture the scene. In addition to neon lace and knee-high gladiator sandals, this year’s first weekend festivalgoers sported substantial body jewelry, from stomach chains to stick-on geometric rhinestones. Others carried fashion fanny-packs and wore sun hats (or, in the case of Michelle Stasiuk, a very elaborate feather Mohawk). Click through the slideshow for a glimpse at the first few days of Coachella street style, from high socks to paisley-print bell bottoms and so much more.
