The Most Wild, Festive Hats at the Easter Parade
Basic bunny ears, it turns out, are child’s play. The annual New York City Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival, which took place yesterday on Fifth Avenue, brought out a spectacular array of hats in every size and stripe. There were towering headpieces overflowing with flowers and leaves like elaborate buffet spreads, and more than one hat featured an elaborate mobile on top. A few ladies opted for demure, ‘40s-inspired looks, while one woman wore a giant Flatiron Building on her head. Click through our slideshow to see all these hats and more, as captured by the Cut’s Nina Westervelt.
