In anticipation of the launch of Paris in 30 Days, our new pop-up blog on all things Paris, the Cut sent local photographer Nabile Quenum out on the streets to capture the French capital’s transition out of cold-weather dressing. Across the pond, musicians, artists, designers, and students hit the sidewalks dressed nearly exclusively in blacks and whites, set off with a touchy of whimsy — artist Qiao Qi paired a long black coat with a tiger-themed leather tote, while designer Eunsong Yoo wore a pair of playful Marc Jacobs socks, visible underneath her sheer skirt. Meanwhile, singer Shade Affogbolo looked clean and crisp in all white with a colorful bird splashed across her torso, and designer Rhaiem Shourouk combined the two most-photographed trendsfrom last Fashion Week: a furry clutch and Nikes. Click through the slideshow for these and more looks fresh off the streets of Paris.
