Rejoice, for the Olsens have heard your gripes about the alligator-skin backpack they designed — you know, the one that went for $39,000? In response, they would like you to know that they also sell backpacks that cost a measly four figures. In a Wall Street Journal profile in honor of the opening of The Row’s first store, Mary-Kate Olsen notes “that was obviously a very special bag to us but that didn’t represent the entire range,” adding that they also have bags that fall between $1,000 and $3,000. “So we’ve now spent a couple of years also retraining the customer that that’s not the only product that’s available.” Well, consider our training complete.
