That was fast! Diet-and-fitness magazine Shape buried the hatchet with blogger and critic Brooke Birmingham on the Today show Friday. Earlier last week, Birmingham refused to participate in an online “Success Story” feature after the magazine insisted on a non-bikini photo — probably because of the loose skin that resulted from her dramatic weight loss. Now, Shape will publish Birmingham’s bikini photo, along with the photos of five other “real women,” in the magazine’s print edition. “We are excited to make this into an impactful discussion about weight loss and reality,” editor-at-large Bahar Takhtehchian said. We’re sure Birmingham pulled that off all on her own.
