Matthew Williamson’s mother, Maureen Williamson, helped him sew his first-ever collection in 1997, so it only makes sense for the designer to return the favor. His mother has knitted a line of brightly colored infantwear that Williamson will soon begin selling in his Mayfair, London, store, per Vogue UK. “My mum first started knitting when I was born, then more recently she started making baby bonnets for friends and they went down a treat,” Williamson explained. “Now she’s got a little waiting list!” Next up for the designer: He’s considering doing a full childrenswear line. Sienna Miller, take note.
