20 Looks From the Men’s Shows Women Can Actually Wear

Every season after the men’s collections (which wrapped up in Paris on Sunday), we find ourselves drooling over the clothes more often than the models. There’s a casual elegance to men’s styling; color palettes are sophisticated, and skirt options are surprisingly aplenty. Why can’t women wear these clothes? There’s nothing stopping us. So, we combed the runways — from Saint Laurent, where there were skinny jeans and embellished garments, to J.W. Anderson, which featured a few off-the-shoulder offerings — for pieces women could actually pull off. Click through our slideshow below to see our favorite menswear looks we want to wear.

Anderson's debut for Loewe appears to be a smash success. These his-and-hers-style tunics look perfectly unisex and are the epitome of menswear for ladies.
Lanvin Lanvin was romantic. The skinny neck scarves and soft layering could just as easily be worn by a woman.

Anderson taunts us each season with a few outings that we would save up for. Here, the off-the-shoulder tied top in an elegant rust was this collection's chick-bait.
Dior Homme We would also wear Dior Homme's painted jeans with a white button-down and black blazer.
Ann Demeulemeester So much to love here. Breezy layers, soft but not overly feminine hues, and a single earring at Ann Demeulemeester.

Saint Laurent Saint Laurent sent out so many looks we loved (good thing the sizing runs small). We especially loved the spangled jackets and the psychedelic patterns on the outerwear.
Bottega Veneta Maybe it's the pink shoes, or maybe it's the headband, but this is a refreshing summer work look for the ladies.

Valentino While Valentino also showed an ever-popular butterfly motif, we were more attracted to this mixed Palm Springs–ready printed combo and supple Bordeaux-colored tee, adorned with an amazing Picasso-esque brooch.

Dries Van Noten Dries Van Noten is the king of menswear that ladies lust after. How amazing would this embroidered kimono look worn over a slim cotton tank?
Carven Carven showed this great graphic blouse. You may already have a similar one in your closet.
Comme des Garçons If you're going to wear a suit, try Comme des Garçons' printed option, again with a skirt worn over pants.
Kenzo Fans of Les Misérables' Cosette, rejoice: Kenzo once again nails it with this sweater. The denim wash is also near-perfect.

Prada Prada's menswear shows always feature options we want to wear (as well as debuts of their women's resort options).  Here, a neat little boxy topstitched jacket and androgynous sandals speak to us.
Raf Simons Why yes, Raf Simons, we do need a little red jacket in our wardrobes.

Ermenegildo Zegna Stefano Pilati is a wizard with color. His collection for Ermenegildo Zegna reminds us that a beautiful blend of colors can look effortless and beautiful. Bonus points for his neck scarf.
