Donatella Versace Cannot Get Enough Diamonds

Donatella Versace has shared her answers to Vanity Fair’s Proust Questionnaire, and they are predictably but delightfully ridiculous. Her greatest extravagance? “Diamonds.” Her idea of perfect happiness? “Music so loud you feel it inside.” If she were to die and come back as a person or thing, who or what does she think the human or object would be? “A high heel.” The only troubling moment comes when Versace is asked to name the trait she most deplores in herself, which is kind of like the Proust Questionnaire equivalent of being asked your greatest weakness in a job interview. “My personality” is her response. But, Donatella, your personality is a shining jewel, much like the diamonds you covet, and you must not ever change.
