Martha Stewart’s skepticism about Blake Lively’s newly birthed deathstyle website did not fall on deaf ears. But while Lively understands, she still has a dream that each person can contain a multitude. She confesses her aspirations to E!:
I want to have my own path professionally and even as she said, I’m an actress. I’m doing something totally different so now I sort of have two careers going on and it’ll be interesting to see how it all pans out. But really what it is, is I have two passions. And I think ultimately, I will always be doing both, but one is going to be paying the bills better than the other.
Is it not legal to have two passions? Is it not decorous to handle more than one thing, but to handle two things? Is it not just and right to follow two paths? Lively will show us all. She will be there, waving a plate of heavenly scented cookies under a swoop of starlight hair, when it all pans out.
