Milan Fashion Week wrapped up yesterday, marking the end of a glorious six days of Barbie dresses, Prada sand dunes, the continued ubiquity of Kendall Jenner and, of course, plenty of Champagne and Campari. The festivities kicked off last Thursday with a party at the Bulgari hotel in honor of Vanessa Friedman’s recent appointment as chief fashion critic at the New York Times, attended by Tomas Maier, Frida Giannini, and half the Missoni family. On Saturday, Grace Jones stole the show at the AmfAR Milan Gala, where she performed “Slave to the Rhythm” while wearing a tutu (along with an expansive tulle headdress) and hula-hooping. Meanwhile, a glowing Rosario Dawson inspired what appears to be a rather serious (and adorable) giggle fit with her seat-mate, Stefano Tonchi, while Heidi Klum spent the evening canoodling with Vito Schnabel. Sunday night ended with a big bash celebrating the 50th anniversary of Vogue Italia, which drew everyone from Amber Valetta to Anna Dello Russo, Poppy Delevingne, and Linda Evangelista.
