Can people ever see themselves truly as they are? Of course they can, you sweet dum-dum. For example, Tina Fey saw herself as she was and drew her remarkable likeness in a self-portrait (Medium: Pen, Ink, Paper, Alphabet) as part of a series to benefit children’s art-education group LilySarahGrace. In the work, she exhibits her un-retouched and glamorous visage in the style of the “Woke Up Like This” school. It is very contemporary.
