It was a little hard to know what to expect when Simone Rocha linked up with J Brand for her first-ever collaboration. The 28-year-old British designer is avowedly not a jeans wearer, and her collections entail Perspex and lace, not denim. The collection doesn’t launch until November 14, but the images are out today and promise that this collab one even denim avoiders will be into. Rocha’s love of pink and ruffles comes across loud and clear in the 14-piece capsule, which includes jackets, pants, and dresses imbued with her trademark frills. Get thee to Dover Street Market to pick up the wares in mid-November — on December 1, they’ll also be at Selfridges, Net-a-Porter, Browns, Bergdorf Goodman, Bon Marche, Montaigne Market, 10 Corso Como, and Isetan, as well as on J Brand’s site.
