Throughout this week, the Cut explores college life, from politics and identity to parties, sex, and style.
So far, the Cut’s exploration of campus style has taken us to a normcore extreme at UCLA and leather-heavy looks at NYU. Today, Lili Marie Jamail, a fifth-year student at UT, Austin, captured her classmates’ understated style on a campus where well-worn jorts and Chuck Taylors rule the land. Library-bound students dressed with comfort in mind and opted for graphic tees, cozy cardigans, colorful caftans, and unanimously practical footwear.
