A year ago, Kim Kardashian’s butt generously agreed to appear on Instagram, cheekily spilling out of a bathing suit, in order to give Mrs. West a post-baby body reveal befitting a reality star of her stature. Then, in 2014, it was forced to take a backseat as Kim appeared on the cover of Vogue, and various pop stars sang odes to their own lesser rear ends. On Tuesday night, Kim’s derriere reclaimed its rightful spot in the cultural conversation when Paper magazine unveiled its winter 2014 cover, featuring her shiny behind in all its glory. (On the alternate cover, photographer Jean-Paul Goude re-creates his iconic “Champagne Incident” shot, but Kim’s rear is covered.) Kanye tweeted out the image with the hashtag #ALLDAY, so apparently he is fully behind the cover.
