Saturday night marked the start of the 2014–2015 awards season with the sixth annual Governors Awards. Hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the event’s honorees included Maureen O’Hara, Hayao Miyazaki, and Harry Belafonte. The real highlight, though, was Tilda Swinton’s hair, which she wore in voluminous honey-colored waves, piled haphazardly atop her scalp, along with a stunning Schiaparelli Haute Couture striped chiffon t-shirt dress. Meanwhile, Jenny Slate showed up in a dress that looked a lot like Lupita’s Oscars gown, and comfortable footwear aficionado Robert Downey Jr. matched his tie to his sneakers.
