Art Basel came to a close yesterday, following a week of raucous, over-the-top parties that drew everyone from Drake to Kim Kardashian to Solange. On Wednesday, Tommy Hilfiger and Jeffrey Deitch co-hosted a party with V magazine featuring a performance by Miley Cyrus, who outdid her Fashion Week tasseled nipple pasties with a pair of stick-on disco balls and a matching silver thong. On Thursday, Miley stuck around for her friend and collaborator Jeremy Scott’s Barbie party, where she tormented a Barbie doll while hanging out with Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, A$AP Rocky, and her boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger. (Also in attendance was award-winning DJ Paris Hilton, dressed in a pink Moschino dress, bearing an uncanny resemblance to a Barbie herself.)
Thursday also marked Paper magazine’s big party for its Break the Internet issue, which drew everyone from cover star Kim Kardashian to Joe Jonas, Scout Willis, and Natalie Joos. Meanwhile, Solange has returned from her photogenic Brazil honeymoon to play a few parties, Wendi Murdoch and Ivanka Trump hung out, and Chloë Sevigny was spotted trying out an interesting new hairdo.
