The Sexiest Dresses of All Time The Flapper Dress

The Flapper Dress

During the Roaring Twenties, the flapper dress gained notoriety as the bold antithesis of the ankle-grazing, heavily corseted Victorian dresses that came before it. Legions of young, smart, sexually liberated women adopted the new dress known for its loose, boyish silhouette, above-the-knee cut, flirty spaghetti straps, and sexy fringe. Stylish women of the time, who also rocked the bob, like Clara Bow, Louise Brooks, and Colleen Moore, helped bring the rebellious flapper look to life.
