“Makeup is a wonderful thing for men as well as women,” said Benedict Cumberbatch, who seems to get stuff on a general level. He reported that makeup hid signs of jet lag at the Golden Globes on Sunday, saying, “I literally landed about an hour before the ceremony started.” And the makeup, it made him look like he’d been there for days at least, enjoying the sunshine, getting facials, luxuriating, and so forth.
