Hedi Slimane loves himself a rock goddess — Marianne Faithfull, Courtney Love, and Kim Gordon have all appeared in the brand’s Music Project campaigns. Today, he’s going a bit more in the folk direction, which seems to be one of his passions of late. The Saint Laurent designer photographed none other than Joni Mitchell at her home in Bel Air. She’s wearing, per Twitter, a tunic from the brand’s Folk collection, along with a leather cape specially made for her by Slimane. More of his portraits will appear in the next issue of V. It seems that featuring Joans in campaigns is shaping up to be a bit of a trend.
