Animate swoop of eyeliner Kristen Stewart would like to amend her placement among DGAF heroes of our era. In fact, Stewart considers herself to be a person that earnestly does GAF.
In an interview with Salon, writer Anna Silman tells Stewart “a lot of people admire what they see as your give-no-fucks attitude.” Stewart replies:
I’m like, actually, no one gives a fuck like me. No one gives more of a fuck than me. It’s just ironic to me. I’m always like, really?
Kristen Stewart: an overachiever of doling out the fucks. A casual observer of the celebrity pantheon might have missed this attitude behind those pouty-eyed glowers, but the whole time, she was caring super-hard.
To note: Later in the interview, Stewart describes the motivation behind her artistic choices as accurately summed up by the word nah. “People always ask if I chose the projects I’ve chosen because I’m trying to redefine myself or people’s perception of me,” she says. “Uh, no. In a word, nah.” So while she does purportedly give a fuck in a general sense, her soul still embraces the nonchalant tao of nah.
