Adorable koala Mark Duplass has a problem with the male gaze, specifically as it relates to not being interested in his nuts. After actress Amanda Peet was asked about showing her boobs in the Duplass brothers’ new HBO show Togetherness, he cried out: “Why don’t you ask me about my balls? I showed my balls, and nobody is asking about that!”
He showed you his nads, and … nothing but a weighty absence of inquiry? Not even a pretentious excuse to recall nudity, posed in a way that brings up vulnerability or raw unedited human experience, or some such thing? Goodness golly gracious, what do a set of balls have to do to get a little attention around here?
