Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne on the cover of Garage.
Multiple-model covers continue to be all the rage for magazines large and small, and for its spring/summer 2015 issue, Garage landed itself a quintet of runway faces, each of whom has her own cover shot by Phil Poynter: Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls, Binx Walton, Cara Delevingne, and Lara Stone. All five wear oversize Beats by Dre headphones and various futuristic CGI accoutrements: a tangle of wiry doodles for Kendall, a wrestling-mask-like chin strap for Cara, and some kind of purple smoke for Joan. The beauty creative direction for the shoot was done by Pat McGrath, whose vibrant makeup coordinates with the different-colored headphones. And the issue, which hits newsstands on February 12, has an added virtual-reality element: When readers download the Garage app onto a phone or tablet, they can see animations come to life through their device. If you’ve ever wanted to watch Cara Delevingne turn into a robot, now is your chance.
